To anyone considering a Cross Country Bank account I can simply say Don't Do It no matter how desperate you are. Terrible customer service, outrageous fees, and investigated by the FTC and every state government for their practices. My experices with them was humiliating, expensive, and degrading. Do an internet search for Cross Country and just see the complaints. They are lowest rated credit card available. There are far better ways to rebuild credit which are not nearly as expensive. I can confidently say that anyone with this card has regretted getting it and it has cost them a small fortune. If there are any problems with your account, expect repeated calls to your employer, friends, and relatives. I'm not kidding. Phone calls, often threatening, in the middle of the night, are not unusual. They will ruin your credit and your life. I've never dealt with any customer service run by thugs before and I am so happy to be rid of them.
